THE BENEFITS OF ATTENDING A SENSORY EVALUATION COURSE

The ability to carry out sensory tests, generally depends on a person’s inborn sensory abilities, but can also be trained. With the help of sensory training these skills can be developed through special exercises.

Our online, interactive course provides information on the principles of sensory science, the human senses and how they are used in sensory evaluation practices, sensory terminology and best practices when conducting these methods.

Typical attendees usually include those with basic knowledge or who are new to sensory science. They will gain an understanding of the importance of objective sensory evaluation activities in the food and drink industry.

The course will be delivered live online over the course of 4 days with a 3-hour session each day. Participants will be sent log in details for Teams or Zoom training sessions. Samples will be couriered in advance to participants for the practical sessions.

Courses are limited to 8 people at our centre and 12 at the client’s premises to ensure an interactive and engaging course for all participants.
